Agere Systems Merger with LSI Logic. This Changes Cost Basis.
Merger Announced December 4, 2006:
When the Agere - LSI merger occurs, shareholders of Agere should receive 2.16 shares of LSI Logic for each share of Agere Systems.
The Agere - LSI merger is subject the approval of both Agere System's shareholders and LSI Logic's shareholders. This merger is expected to occur in 2007.
