The following is a list of common problems that can occur with several of our programs. ˇ Errors when trying to load any Windows program. > Most of our programs that are written for Windows come with a Rescue Utility. This utility usually has an icon of a stamp and will have the name of the program it is for. Run the utility and it will report if there are any problems with the system files. ˇ Error 3050 and/or 3052 when starting the program.
> You need to add (or update) the following line in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file. (This should be in the C:\ directory)
C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE /L:500
ˇ Error 3041 when starting the program.
> Rename the following files:
MSAJT112.DLL
MSAJT200.DLL
VBDB300.DLL
with an extension of .OLD and then re-install the program.
ˇ "This application uses CTL3DV2.DLL which has not been properly installed." > Re-install the program (selecting the windows/system directory for system files) and then delete all copies of CTL3DV2.DLL that are not in the windows/system directory. ˇ Reports are sent to printer but come out garbled, or do not print. > If you have the HPII Series printer driver installed, but are not printing to an HPII Series printer, you have to remove the driver from the system. (If you have an HPII Series that you use for other programs then contact Denver Tax Software, Inc.) |
